Expert Advisory services are as follows but can be adapted based on a discussion around your particular need or situation:

City, Metro & Regional scale Visioning or Master-Planning

Providing high level strategic advice to clients, leading the development of long-term strategic plans (20-30 years), visions and frameworks. This occurs either prior to commissioning or throughout the duration of the project lifecycle to draw cross sector funding and secure long-term stakeholder buy in.

NOTE: In most cases this work can be completed independently but dependent on scale and complexity of issue other multi-disciplinary consultants may be required. In these instances, I have partnership agreements with some of the most progressive and well-known multi-disciplinary firms on the Planet.

Precinct & Mega-Project Advisory

Embedding placemaking and urban design best practice within major infrastructure and urban regeneration projects and programs. Types of projects might include City Centre Regeneration, Waterfront Redevelopment, Olympic Bids, Integrated Transport and Planning Corridors.

Independent Strategic Review & Assessments

Independent and confidential best practice critique to Ministers, Mayors, CEOs, Executives, City Leaders and Projects Teams of existing plans, strategies, policies, capital projects and frameworks.

City Diagnosis & Place Performance Audits

Undertake independent health check to assess performance of a particular district, place or street. Place audit is undertaken through on the ground assessments, site visits, stakeholder workshops (public and private) and desk top data/research review to identify what's working, what’s not, and then provide a report to client outlining statutory and non-statutory strategies (plans, policies, projects and activities) to address gaps and opportunities in the short, medium and long term.

Placemaking & Development Response advice

From high-level direction setting to street-level delivery, tactical urbanism or development response initiatives I provide strategic advice to projects teams (including Strategic Communications) responsible for project delivery, ongoing activation and story-telling.

Design-led collaboration and support

Convene, lead and facilitate cross sector multi-disciplinary workshops or design charettes with key stakeholders to develop shared understanding of challenges and opportunities posed by a particular project or issue and to develop a collaborative working model or roadmap to respond.

Strategic Collaborations

Partnering with private sector teams or consortiums as a member of a multi-disciplinary consultant team bidding for work, entering competitions or undertaking large scale commissions I can provide expertise from pitching and vision setting to delivery.
